2009: Most Outstanding Defensive Player of NCAA Division II Final Four … Second team Daktronics All-Central Region … RMAC All-Tournament Team … Preseason All-RMAC … Appeared in 24 games, starting 23 times for the Skyhawks in season that saw them win NCAA Division II, RMAC tournament and RMAC regular season championships … Recorded 7 points (1 goal, 5 assists) … Assisted on David Barden’s NCAA championship-winning goal with 12:27 remaining in regulation of the title game that broke a scoreless tie and provided FLC with a 1-0 win over Lees-McRae on Dec. 5, 2009 … Also had an assist in 8-2 NCAA semifinal victory over Le Moyne on Dec. 3, 2009.

2008: RMAC Tournament MVP … First team All-RMAC … RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll … Played and started in 22 games for the Skyhawk team that won RMAC tournament and regular season championships and advanced to second round of NCAA Division II playoffs … Recorded 6 points (2 goals, 2 assists) … Had two game-winning goals, both of which came vs. Metro St. in a 10-day span late in the season: in a 3-2 win at Dirks Field on Oct. 31, 2008, and in a 2-0 win at Dirks Field in the RMAC tournament championship game on Nov. 9, 2008 … The Oct. 31 goal vs. the Roadrunners was the first of Wood’s collegiate career.

2007: Played in 16 games, starting three times for the Skyhawk squad that won the RMAC tournament and advanced to the first round of the NCAA playoffs.

2006: Redshirted on Skyhawk team that finished second in the NCAA Division II national playoffs.

High School: Graduated from Eldorado High School in 2006 … Started three years at forward for the Eagles.
