Weekly Skyhawk Coaches Luncheons, held at noon each Monday from September 12 through November 14, 2011, at the Irish Embassy Pub (northeast corner of 9th and Main in Downtown Durango). Cost is $10 per person. Following the Thanksgiving break, they will resume on an every-other-week basis. These luncheons give boosters a chance to meet Skyhawk coaches, administrators, and student-athletes, hear about last week's games, and get insight into upcoming contests. Other special events held during the year include the FLC Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony (usually held in the fall), the Skyhawk Awards Banquet (usually held in April), the Big Hawktion (held on Oct. 8, 2011), and other fundraisers and social events.
Volunteer Opportunities
A wide variety of volunteer opportunities exist from special events or game day hospitality to helping procure corporate partnerships or serving on one of the teams for the April-May Scholarship Fund Drive. Contact Assistant Director of Athletics Chris Aaland at
