DURANGO – September 7, 2017 – Nineteen NCAA Division II women's golf teams, along with Fort Lewis College, will head to Durango, Colo. for the 2017 Skyhawks West Regional Preview Tournament, which will be held Sept. 18-19.
"This is going to be the biggest individual stroke women's golf tournament ever hosted in the Four Corners," said FLC head golf coach
Guy Begay. "The tournament is a preview for the NCAA Women's Golf West Regional that we'll host in May. It's exciting that many of the top teams in the West will be here and plenty of great golfers who are very talented."
The tournament will be hosted on the Skyhawks home course – Hillcrest Golf Course (par 71, 6,039 yards).
The 20-team tournament field features seven states (California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Washington) and Canada, and six difference conferences.
