DURANGO, Colo. – February 6, 2015 – Fort Lewis College head women's soccer
Jimmy Hall announced today that
Jenna A. Brown of Farmington, New Mexico has signed a National Letter of Intent to play women's soccer next season.
"
Jenna A. Brown brings both speed and power to our attacking line as a powerful threat," said Hall. "We will enjoy seeing her break defenses down and find the back of the net."
Brown is a four year starter for the Piedra Vista Panthers where she competes in soccer and track & field. Brown spent time playing forward, and center and outside midfield. She was a four time Honor Roll member and named to the All-Academic team five times for soccer and twice for track & field. The team captain in 2013-14, Brown was named all-district in 2013-14 and second team all-district in 2014.
She is planning on majoring in Athletic Training at Fort Lewis College.
Brown joins
Ma'ila Aluli,
Ariel Lopez,
Kaylee Mickens,
Jackie Strom and
Sierra Utton to the 2015 signing class.
The Skyhawks finished the 2014 season 6-8-5 overall and 5-5-4 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
