2011-12 All-RMAC men's golf teams
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Fort Lewis College's
Charlie Laudermilk was named to the All-
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's golf third team, RMAC Assistant Commissioner Eric Danner announced last night.
Laudermilk, a six-foot junior from Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin, Texas, had the 15th highest total score (660) in the four tournaments used to determine RMAC league and regular season champions.
Laudermilk shot 218 at the Grizzly Invitational in Alamosa, Colo., on Sept. 6-7; 218 at the at the Colorado Christian University Invitational in Littleton, Colo., on Oct. 10-11; and 224 at this week's RMAC Championships in Litchfield Park, Ariz., earlier this week. His 237 at the NSIC/RMAC Crossover in Gothenburg, Neb., on Sept. 25-26 was thrown out, as each individual's top three rounds are counted toward the league crown.
Through 21 rounds thus far in the 2011-12 campaign, Laudermilk has averaged 76.05 strokes per 18 holes.
He was previously chosen as the FLC golf team's Most Valuable Player at the 2011-12 Skyhawk Awards Banquet on April 3 and was named to the All-RMAC Tournament Team for his fourth place finish at the RMAC Championships earlier this week.
Fort Lewis and Laudermilk will find out if they qualify for the NCAA Division II West/Central SuperRegional, to be held May 7-9 at the Wigwam Golf Resort's Gold Course, the same course as this week's RMAC Championships.
