DURANGO, Colo. — The Fort Lewis College football staff will hold a happy hour social at Bent Urban Sports Bar at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1 for Skyhawks Booster Club members and FLC athletic fans.

Coaches from FLC's other fall sports will also be in attendance.

“We want all boosters and friends of the program to mingle with our staff and talk about next year,” said Cesar Rivas-Sandoval, who begins his third year as head coach of the Skyhawks in 2012. “Come down to Bent and enjoy the festivities.”

Rivas-Sandoval and his staff will talk about the 2012 spring game (to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14 at Ray Dennison Memorial Field), his team's winter workouts, and what fans can expect next fall.

“All of our coaches have been busy since the end of the 2011 season with recruiting, winter workouts, and preparing for the 2012 season. This gives our fans a chance to see how much the team has been developing,” said Rivas-Sandoval.

Food and beverage specials will be available.

Bent Urban Sports Bar is located at 42 Country Road 250, suite 400, in northeast Durango at the intersection of Florida Road and East Animas Road.
