DURANGO, Colo. — Gavin Lyons and
David Schroeder — two players who led Fort Lewis College to the 2010-11
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular season championship —shared the Skyhawk golf team's Most Valuable Player Award at the 2011 Skyhawk Awards Banquet, held April 7 at the Student Union Ballroom.
“Both of them have been four-year starters,” said FLC head golf coach Bud Andersen. “David has probably been the most consistent player that I've ever coached. Gavin is just playing really good golf right now. It's good to see it happen right now at crunch time.”
