George & Jackson Come Up Big in Semifinal Game, Combine for 24 Points
March 13, 2010. Durango, CO. - The Fort Lewis College women's basketball team will advance to the Central Regional Championship game for the second time in two years. This time they will get to play it in front of their home crowd after the Skyhawks blew past the Vikings of Augustana 79-52 in the NCAA Women's Regional Semifinal game. The Skyhawks will be going up against the #3 seed Concordia St. Paul who defeated CSU-Pueblo earlier in the evening by 20+ points.
The Regional Championship game, also known as the "Sweet Sixteen" will be played in Whalen Gymnasium at 7pm on Monday, March 15th. The winnner will advance to the Elete Eight in Missouri next weekend. More in depth story to come tomorrow.
