Johnson Earns Recognition for Receptions per Game
February 2nd, 2010.  Durango, CO. - Junior Justin Johnson from San Diego, CA was recently recognized on becoming a 2009 NCAA Division II Statistical Champion for Receptions per Game in the 2009 football season. Johnson averaged 9.2 receptions/game this past season for the Skyhawks. 

Along with this honor, Johnson also set a single season record for most receptions in a season with 124. He also set a single game record for most receptions in a single game against Western New Mexico, where he pulled in 19 catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson recorded 1,136 receiving yards this season, five touchdowns and averaged 103.3 yards receiving per game.
