“We are extremely pleased with the effort that all of our student-athletes are putting forth in the classroom,” said first-year head football coach Cesar Rivas-Sandoval. “We want Fort Lewis College football players to be accomplished in the classroom as much as we do the football field. These fine young men have worked diligently to be at the top of their respected academic fields. The entire program and I are very proud of them. We look forward to increasing the number of academic and athletic accolades that our program will have in the very near future. This is a great start.”
