Fort Lewis College Athletics

November 2nd, 2009.  Durango, CO. -  The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has released the 2009 All-Academic teams for Volleyball and Football. Fort Lewis had four student-athletes recognized for their academic accomplishments. Three were volleyabll players and one came from the football team. 

Junior Taylor Hilberry was selected to the 2009 RMAC Second Team All-Academic with a 3.87 GPA. Hilberry is majoring in K-12 Art Education. Senior Katherine Sumrall and Junior Adriana Saiz were selected as 2009 RMAC Honorable Mentions. Sumrall is majoring in International Business with a 3.47 GPA and Saiz has a major in Exercise Science Specialist with a 3.55 GPA.

Sophomore Nick Frizzell was the lone football student-athlete to be mentioned in the 2009 RMAC All-Academic Team. Frizzell earned a spot on the RMAC Second Team All-Academic with a 3.88 GPA in Marketing.
