October 7, 2009.  Durango, CO.  - The Fort Lewis Men's Golf team ended their fall season in the Grand Canyon Fall Invitational in Goodyear, AZ, capturing 11th place in the 17 team tournament. The Skyhawks finished 46 over par with a socre of 910  in the two day, 54 hole tournament.

Fort Lewis senior, Doug Manske led the way for the Skyhawks, shooting only two over par with a final score of 218 (69-73-76), which landed him in 8th place out of 89 golfers. Junior David Schroeder shot a 76-75-75 for 10 over par, freshman Charlie Laudermilk shot a 233 (76-79-78), Gavin Lyons shot a 76-77-81 for a score of 234 and Devin Schreiner finished with a 239 (79-80-79).

The Skyhawks will be off until April when they play in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Spring Tournament in 2010. For further information on the results from the Fall Invitational, click on the following link.
