DURANGO, CO - September 29, 2007 - The Fort Lewis College men's cross country team finished fourth earlier today at the 2007 CU-Boulder Rocky Mountain Shootout. The Skyhawks finished behind Western State, Metro State and Dickinson State and ahead of five other teams.

Fort Lewis tallied 128 points with 12th, 20th, 26th, 34th and 26th place finishers. Sean Dunlap (Ossipee, NH/Ossipee) led the way with a 27:43 and a 12th place finish.

Dylan Peterson (Lakeville, MN/Lakeville) finished in 20th place with a 28:12, while Jeff Hofferber (Littleton, CO/Heritage) placed 26th with a time of 29:04.

Skyhawk freshmen Paul Havris (Tempe, AZ/Marcos De Niza) and Nathan Villatoro (Arvada, CO/Arvada) rounded out the top five for the Skyhawks with times of 29:56 and 30:07 respectively.

The Skyhawks return to action on October 20th at Hillcrest Golf Club in Durango for the 2007 RMAC Cross Country Championships.
