Coach John Weswah enters his second season as an assistant coach. Weswah, a former student-athlete by way of Kenya, graduated from Fort Lewis College in April 2006 with a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration-Tourism and Resort Management option. Coach Weswah brings terrific knowledge in coaching because of his past experiences as a runner.
Before he joined Fort Lewis cross country, he attended Dine Community College in Shiprock, New Mexico. He helped Dine College in winning a National Championship, and was named an All-American both years. He was voted as Fort Lewis cross country's Most Valuable Runner in 2005. He's determined to help make the program not only successful for himself, but for the team and head coach Ken Flint.
Coach Weswah has put heart and passion into Fort Lewis College cross country program. It’s rewarding to see his effort and philosophy manifest into something that the team can respect which is a tribute to his coaching ability and dedication.
